PAULA BROADHURST, BSc.,BVMS, Cert EM (Stud Med), MRCVS

Paula graduated from Murdoch University, Western Australia in 1997, and then worked in a first opinion and referral practice in country Victoria dealing with racing, performance and pleasure horses. She then returned to Western Australia where she was primarily working with performance and pleasure horses.

Paula joined the Equine Veterinary Hospital in February 2005. Her particular areas of interest are Equine reproduction, stud medicine and performance horse medicine and lameness. In 2007 Paula gained her RCVS certificate in Equine Stud Medicine.

In Australia Paula’s spare time was spent show jumping and eventing, and she is hoping to continue pursuing these interests now she has settled for the moment in the UK.
