GARETH HAINES MA, Vet MB, MRCVS

Gareth comes from South Wales where he has been involved with horses from a young age, regularly hunting, show jumping and hunter trialing.

He graduated from Cambridge in 2005 with degrees in Veterinary Medicine and Zoology. Whilst there he rowed for his college, represented the University in Modern Pentathlon and was huntsman and Master of the University Doghounds. Always keen for a good time he also organized the Cambridge Vet School social events.

Before joining us at The Equine Veterinary Hospital in 2007, Gareth worked in mixed practice in Kent where he enjoyed all aspects of his work but his interests principally were with Equine Practice.

In his spare time Gareth enjoys running, horse riding and swimming and now that he lives near the coast is looking forward to taking up some watersports.
